Endosymbiosis is an evolution theory which deals with how eukaryotic cells developed from prokaryotic organisms. Scientists believed that eukaryotic cells evolved from early prokaryotes, which are engulfed by the process of phagocytosis. Endosymbiosis impacted SURVIVAL ADVANTAGE on early eukaryotes.
