If a cheetah runs 70 mph on a 100 meter track, and a lion runs 50 mph, how long would the track have to be so they finish at the same time?

It'll never happen unless they are running on a globe. You could have those two running forever in a straight line and the cheetah will always be ahead of the lion. The longer they go, the more the distance between them.

The track for the lion would have to be 71 meters so they both could finish at the same time. I did this by dividing 100 by 70 and multiplying that answer by 50
