The slope is the change in Y over the change in X.

(-9,6) is X1 and Y1.

(-3,9) is X2 and Y2.

Slope = Y2-Y1 / X2-X1

Slope = 9 - 6 / -3 - (-9)

Slope = 3/6 = 1/2

The slope = 1/2
