If the radius of 16 is doubled, the radius of the larger circle would be 32. Using that information you can then find the area with the following formula:

A=[tex] \pi [/tex]r²

A=[tex] \pi [/tex]·32²

A=3.14·1,024

A=3215.36 m²

The answer is 1204[tex] \pi [/tex] m², or 3215.36 m².
