The answer is a. -7

1. Find g(2).

2. Find f(g(2)).

g(x) = x² - 6x - 7

x = 2 ⇒ g(2) = ?

g(2) = 2² - 6·2 - 7 = 4 - 12 - 7 = -15

2. f(x) = x + 8

g(2) = -15

f(g(2)) = f(-15) = -15 + 8 = -7
