Remark

You already know the slope of the line. It is given as -4/7

Now all you have to do is use the point to get the y intercept.

Solution

What you know so far

y = mx + b

y = (-4/7) * x + b

Use the point to find b

-7/2 = (-4/7)7 + b

- 3.5 = - 4 + b              Add 4 to both sides.

-3.5 + 4 = -4 + 4 + b

1/2 = b

So the entire equation is

y = (-4/7)x + 1/2
