How do you solve 2n+6=-28

you put your like terms together so, you do the opposite of addition which is subtraction.
So you subtract 6 on each side, and -28-6 is -34
so now you have 2n=-34 and since 2 has the variable you have to divide by 2 on each side so how you have n= -34÷2
so 34÷2= 17 and since the terms are unlike you have to put a negative sign
so n=-17
