this is a hexagon so total sum of angles should equal 720°

first find the missing angle inside the hexagon

720° - ( 75 + 130 + 125 + 115 + 145 )° = 130°

since angle y° is on a straight line, the missing angle and y° should equal 180°

180° - 130° = 50°

y = 50°
