For this case we have the following functions:

[tex]g (x) = 5\\h (x) = 4-x[/tex]

We must find [tex](g * h) (x):[/tex]

By definition, we have to:

[tex](g * h) (x) = g (x) * h (x)\\(g * h) (x) = 5 (4-x) = 20-5x[/tex]

Now we evaluate for -3:

[tex](g * h) (- 3) = 20-5x = 20-5 (-3) = 20 + 15 = 35[/tex]

Answer:

[tex](g * h) (- 3) = 35[/tex]
