The correct answer would be: 2.2 kilometers

Here’s how you solve it!

We know that 1 mile= 1.61 kilometers

That leaves us to find how much .40 of a mile is in kilometers

To find out you just simply divide both numbers together

1.61* 1.40= 2.2

Therefore, you are left with your answer: 2.2 kilometers

Hope this helps! :3
