Answer: The answer you get for "1000(99-70 √2)" isn't the same as "1000(99-70 * 1.4)"

Step-by-step explanation:

1000(99-70 √2) =

1000×99+1000×−70√ 2  =

99000+1000×−70√ ​2  =

99000−70000√ 2

1000(99-70 * 1.4) =

1000(99-98) =

1000* 1 = 1000

Even if 1.4 is an estimated answer for √2 but that's all it'll be, an estimation not an exact number. Hope this helps!!
