The Industrial Revolution wasn't a "revolution" in a sense that a government or leader was overthrown. Rather, the Industrial Revolution was an era in which great technological advances took place. Things like the steam engine and the telegraph were invented, greatly changing the way everyone lived their lives. These new inventions would change the way that people lived forever
