Express y in terms of x in the given equation.
 
                                           y = 3x + 15

Substitute the given value of x in the modified equation,
 
                                                y = 3(1/3) + 15
 
                                                 y = 1 + 15 = 16

Thus, the matching value of y given the value of x is 16.
