Answer:

The concentration of the solute plays an important role in the freezing point of the solution. A solution comprises of the solvent and solutes which means if there is a change in any of the constituents then the whole solution will be affected too. Increasing the solute concentration reduces the activity of the liquid phase solvent thereby reducing the freezing point of the solution while the decrease in the concentration of the solute increases the freezing point of the solution.
