To get solution we want to have only one r on the LHS.
7(r+1)=5r+59
7r+7=5r+59      /-5r (subtract 5r both sides)
7r-5r+7=5r-5r+59
2r+7=59         /-7 (subtract 7 both sides)
2r=59-7
2r=52            /:2   (divide both sides by 2)
r=26 - its the answer
