The equation of any straight line is. Y=(slope) times (x) + the y-intercept. You've given us both of those numbers. The slope is -2. The y-intercept is the point where the line crosses the y-axis. That's the point on the line where x=0 and you gave us that too. So the equation of the line is. Y= -2x + 3.
