Given:-

  • Velocity,v = 16 m/s

  • Kinetic energy = 1892 J

To be calculated:-

Calculate the mass of the stone.

Formula used:-

Kinetic energy = 1/2 × m × v²

Solution:-

We know that,

Kinetic energy = 1/2 × m × v²

⇒ 1892 = 1/2 × m × ( 16 )²

⇒ 1892 = 1/2 × m × 256

⇒ 1892 = 128m

⇒ m = 1892/128

⇒ m = 14.78 kg
