∠A and∠B being complementary means  m∠A+m∠B=90°

m∠A = (4x+6)°  and m∠B = (4x+4)°

so:

   4x+6 + 4x+4 = 90

    8x + 10 = 90

     8x = 80

       x = 10

m∠A = (4•10+6)° = 46°
