Answer:

p=2(L+W)

p=304

L=40+w

p=2(40+w+w) ,40+w is the value of L

304=2(40+2w)

304/2=2(40+2w)/2 divided both side by 2

152=40+2w

152-40=2w

112=2w

112/2=2w/2

w=56

and L =40+w

40+56=96.

so L=96 and W=56.
