Cross multiply. 5tx12 = 2x25. This simplifies to 60t=50. Then divide to get t by itself. t=50/60, and then divide by common factor (10) to get t=5/6.

Cross Multiply

2*25 = 5t*12

50 = 60t

60t = 50            Divide by 60

t = 50/60

t = 5/6

I hope this explains it.
