if 30 miles is ⅔s of Kevin's drive, then his drive would be a total of 45 miles.

explanation: if you divide 30 in half, you'd get 15 [which is ⅓ of Kevin's drive], and add another third [15 miles], you'd get 30+15, which equals 45.
