(Multipy by 2 )

Becomes

2) 4x+3y= -5

-4x+4y=12

3) -5+12 =7

7y/7=7/7=

y=1

4x+3y=-5

4x+3+-3= -5+ -3 (add neigitve 3 on both sides)
