Can you guys distribute 7(4y+5)=19y+8 and figure out how many solutions this problem has plz and thank you

It should only have one solution. 
After distributing, you have the equation 
[tex]28y + 35 = 19y + 8[/tex]
Subtract applicable things.
[tex]9y = -27[/tex]
divide both sides by 9.
[tex]y = -3[/tex]

therefore the solution is 
[tex]y = -3[/tex]
