How does a fish swim

       a fish simply moves its tail and its fins to swim. They move their caudal fins (tail fins) to propel themselves through the water. Their pectoral fins, and for the most part, the rest of the fins, are used to help the fish change direction, along with the pectoral fins helping them to stop.
