In previous scenes, all of the important men in her life, starting with her brother (Laertes), then her father (Polonius), and then the love of her life (Hamlet), leave her alone. As a result of this, she goes mad and begins to speak complete gibberish. Then, all of a sudden, she dies from drowning. (Not a coincidence!) She lost her mind, so she k!!!ed herself.
