We know, the probability of an event = Favorable outcomes / Total outcomes.

In a case of two dices,

Total outcomes = 6 × 6 = 36

A.T. Q favorable outcome is a sum of 6,

Ways of obtaining a sum of 6

(1,5), (5,1), (2,4),(4,2) and (3,3). Total 5 ways in which 6 can be obtained using two dices.
