When a population's carrying capacity has been reached, which scenario is NOT likely to occur?

The carrying capacity is the size of a population that can live indefinitely using the resources available where that population lives.  If carrying capacity is exceeded, the population declines because its environment can no longer support the excess numbers. Hope this helps.
