 Haha... I guess it depends on how well you cook. If you're a terrible cook and your food catches fire, thats chemical change. Because the compounds in whatever food you're cooking becomes oxidized by O2, meaning it changes to a new compound. 

If you're a decent cook and nothing catches fire, then it is only physical change, there are no reactions, just change of state.
