D- Hamilton’s Financial Program to help lay back the Nations Debt
It was his idea that if we were to start a ‘new America’ we would need founding. He proposed a bold economic plan to raise revenue to retire these debts. He asked Congress to approve excise taxes on products like whiskey made in the United States. He also proposed creating a Bank of the United States to centralize federal government finances.
