Answer: Q = 32 °  and R = 58°

Step-by-step explanation:

Since Q and R are complementary,

⇒ Q + R = 90°

Since Q is 26° less than the measure of R

⇒ R - 26° = Q

We can therefore say that ( R - 26°) + R = 90°

⇒              2 R = 90° + 26°

                    R = 58 °

Also, since  R - 26°   = Q

                   58° - 26° =  Q

                            32 ° = Q

∴ Q = 32 °  and R = 58°
