10 - a + b = 2

We know that a = 3 and b = 14, so lets substitute this in.

10 - 3 + 14 = 2

7 + 14 = 2

21 = 2

This is incorrect.

This means that a [tex]\neq[/tex] 3 and b [tex]\neq[/tex] 14
