le, la, les, l' mean in French.

=  the

Singular: The “le”= in male form, The “La”= female form

Plural: “les”= ex. The women or the men

l’= is when la or le comes first before a vocal letter in a word, instead of saying “la aéroport”, you say “l’aéroport”.
It’s like glueing it together.
