Why do you think interest in the Loving v. virginia case still so strong today?

The Loving v. Virginia case which dealt with interracial marriage was a momentous activist achievement. Without a doubt, it's still strong today even though it's in a much more subtle manner. That is, most people are not well informed about historic cases.
