What happened in the story?

A stranger interacts with Elisa and at first, Elisa is wary about this stranger but soon they begin to talk and her suspicions begin to ease off.

Therefore, we can see that she becomes comfortable and decides to trust the stranger when he tells her that he loves her garden and also her beloved chrysanthemums.
