Describe what John Locke meant when he spoke of a social contract that exists between rulers and the people they govern.
(It's not an essay, or a paragraph, please just describe it fully, I'd really appreciate it. It can be short, or be long. I just need the explanation.)

So,essentially John Locke believed that people were free. He strongly believed  the two treatises of government. This meant he didn't want anyone subject to absolute rule of the monarch.
