add 1/9 to both sides

⇒ -6/5 + 1/9 = q - 1/9 + 1/9

⇒ (-6 * 9 + 1 * 5)/(5*9) = q

⇒ (-54 + 5)/45 = q

⇒ -49/45 = q

⇒ q = -49/45
