- 1/6 + 2/5

~Turn both denominators into 30.

- 1/6 with 30 as a denominator is 5/30 because 5/30 simplified is 1/6.

- 2/5 with 30 as a denominator is 12/30 because 12/30 simplified is 2/5.

Now our question is :

5/30 + 12/30 = 16 /30

Divide both the numerator & denominator by 2.

8 / 15
