y = 2x^2
y = –3x −1

hello : 
y = 2x²
y = –3x −1
2x² = -3x-1
2x² +3x +1 =0
(x+1 ) (2x+1 ) = 0
x+1 =0 or 2x+1= 0
x = -1 or x= -1/2
if  x= -1  y = 2(-1)² = 2
if x= -1/2    y = 2(-1/2)² = 1/2 
two solutions : (-1 , 2)    , (-1/2 , 1/2)
