A tree casts a shadow of 26 meters when the angle of elevation of the sun is 24°. find the height of the tree to the nearest meter.

This is the concept of geometry, the height of the tree will be given by:
tan theta=[opposite]/[adjacent]
theta=24
opposite=h
adjacent=26m
thus;
tan 24=h/26
hence;
h=26tan24
h=10.29
=10 m
