Why was England So Slow to Establish New World Colonies in the 1500s? Explain.

England was already doing so well, and didn't see fit to change. All around them, was changing and that caused good as well as harm. Since England was already fine, they figured establishing New Wold Colonies wouldn't be beneficial.
