What is the length of the segment of the number line consisting of the points that satisfy (x-4)^2 <= 9$?

i am assuming i must find X.
first we find that 4 times 4 is 16 then we subtract 16 from 9 which results in 5.
now lets try the question (5-4)^2=9 the square roots of 5 and 4 are 25 and 16
25-16 is 9 so the length should be 5
