The enzyme which is the salt can increase the ph scale of the bacteria and creating more acidity
First create a graph and get a pencil and paper.
Get beakers for each 1cm cubed of salt you are going to add to this experiment
To make sure the bacteria is growing and there are no external factors
Also get a lamp or something to determine a light concentration and tempature
The Petri dishes the bacteria are in must all have the same amount of bacteria and all be the same type e.g penicillin
Since the ph scale goes up to 14
Get 14 beakers
Add 1cm cubed of salt for the first and add it into a Petri dish of bacteria and first make it an solute by using a beaker and mixing it with water then let it sit under the lamp for a 12 hrs and plot results on a graph with pencil and a paper and have a control variable of just bacteria and a Petri dish and paper
Also wear gloves as you touch bacteria and goggles as it spreads and a lab coat additionally
Then increase the cm cubed of salt into each Petri dish next would be 2cm cubed and so on and then test to see if the salt helps bacteria grow and isn’t a limiting factor .
