To multiply two fractions together, multiply the numerators of both fractions together and same goes for the denominators.

[tex]\frac{6}{12} * \frac{2}{3} = \frac{12}{36}[/tex]

Simplify.

[tex]\frac{12}{36} = \frac{1}{3}[/tex]

So, 1/3 is the answer.
