18 k=1 (14-6k) can you help me solve this

18k =1(14-6k)
Anything multiplied by 1 is itself
18k= 14-6k
Add 6k to each side
24k = 14
Divide each side by 24
k= 14/24 or 7/12 (best left as a fraction because the decimals are really long)
