The quotient of a number and 6, minus 5/3, is equal to the quotient of the number and 2. Find the number.

[tex] \frac{x}{6} - \frac{5}{3} = \frac{x}{2} [/tex]
[tex]x-10=3x[/tex]
[tex]x=-5[/tex]
