We know that  ln 2 = a  and  ln 3 = b. The rule is:  ln ( x * y ) = ln x + ln yTherefore:ln 6 = ln ( 2 * 3 ) = ln 2 + ln 3 = a + bAnswer:ln 6 = a + b
