How would homeostasis be affected if a tendon was torn?

Homeostasis would be negatively affected because the homeostasis of an organism in this case would include having a normal working and healthy tendon. When this is not the case - the tendon is torn - the body is out of homeostasis as it tries to regain "balance" and return and fix the tendon in order to pus the body back into homeostasis.
