Sure. 
You don't even need to bother with the division.

100,000 is a multiple of 10 .

If you add 4 more to it, that won't be enough to make another 10 .
So if somebody comes along, sees the 100,004 lying there, and
divides it by 10, the  4  will be a remainder.
