The pattern is the negative value of the last number dived by 4
Remembering that a negotiable value of a negative is a positive

You divide each number by -4. For example 64/-4 = -16, -16/-3 = 4. For the nth term in the sequence, the formula would be x = 64/(-4^(n-1)) which simplifies to x = -(-4^(4-n)) if I did my mental math correctly. Hope that helps.
