They felt angry that they and their government alone was blamed for all the issues of the Great War.

They felt angry that they were forced to pay war reparations.

They felt angry that their economy was driven into depression, depression in which rampant unemployment and inflation raged.

They felt angry that they had lost.

And out of the ashes a man would arise.They felt angry. They felt angry that their reputation and their national pride was tarnished by lies like this.
